Rate of Diabetes in the General Population - about 12% or 1 in every 8 people

At least once a week the question seems to come up, often from a newly diagnosed member

They may have heard diabetes could be reversed or they are asking if they should take this prescribed med the Doctor wrote a script for because they googled the side effects and the stuff sounds like poison and asking if it's safe

Yes, unless the Doc prescribes otherwise (may be trying to figure something out with morning/evening injections) then once a day with a long/extra long acting insulin is fine
