What Does Everybody Use To Check Their Blood Sugar? What Do You Find The Most Reliable?

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
California City, CA

I’m currently in my insurance. I have the freestyle libre. The alarm sensors go off a lot, telling me my sugar is low, or they can’t be read. And quite a lot of times they just stop working. I think it’s dangerous because no one even told me that there would be a big difference or difference at all. And just to make sure I asked… read more

Have You Ever Had A Good Experience In Treating Diabetes?

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Granby, QC

I want to propose an experiment to you to do. I have successfully experimented with an experiment on how to lie down to sleep or simply to rest. This allows to have a lot of success in controlling diabetes
You just have to get into the habit of always lying on your left shoulder, when the glucose level is too high or, is normal. If the level is too low, lie on the right shoulder. Otherwise, you risk having a hard hypoglycemia
This is an experiment that deserves to be practiced and you will… read more

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Pitman, NJ

Good evening from South Jersey all you warriors.

I eat to the nondiabetic range of 4.0(72 usa) to 7.8(140 usa).
I eat to my blood glucose meter, my blood glucose numbers spreadsheet, and my food journal. Baby steps.

They tell me what foods I can eat somewhat freely, what foods I must limit, and what foods I must almost totally avoid. Baby steps.

Many diabetics are eating Too many carbs. Most diabetics can handle 100-130 net carbs. Some only 50-60 net carbs. Some only 20-30 net carbs. Then… read more

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Mpumalanga, ZA

In May, I took antibiotics for three weeks for a sore and my doctor did cut and drained it, but it kept on making pus. In June again the same sore on the corner of my armpit it took a month to heal. In July I'm struggling again now on my upper inside of my thigh. It starts with a very painful red round patch, develop a pimple and a pus after. I always control my diet and excersize. I don't need any more antibiotics. Please advise
