I Hate Having Type 2 Diabetes, I Really Want To Be Able To Reverse It. So Far, Ive Been Managing Through Diet. Is This Possible?
I was diagnosed in April 2016,had to go on insulin shots twice daily and I lost a lot of weight since then,so on may 18 2017,I was able to stop the shots and just do exercise and watch my diet., my doctor said it can be reversed and even cured.,but would have to be a life long change in diet and plenty of exercise.
I have done some research on this. In my findings, there have been known people overseas with strict focus on cutting certain things out of their diet, they have been able to reverse it.At present, im not on any medication, and im only slightly above the normal range that is why ive been diagnosed with type 2... There are so many foods and natural fruits, though healthy contain sugars. Pastas and sauces are very high and rich in sugars. Stress increases the sugar levels, so finding relaxing techniques, and drinking water also helps.Beaware, as some foods say they contain less sugar, but infact the additives are far worse than having the product containing the sugar.
You technically can not reverse it!! You can get it in to like a remission or well controlled & not on meds, and controlled by diet/exercise. Once that is achieved it becomes a way of life, only thing is if you falter diabetes can come back with a vengeance - on same token loads of people have achieved that and are doing great!!
It takes a load of hard work and perseverance- if you achieve it good for you! Especially if you're doing it through just diet!! 👍👍
It is possible with the right foods. But will take a lot of perseverance. I have type 2_diabetes through an overdose of hydrocortisone courtesy of a hand surgeon in Auckland . I am just controlling it. My age too plays a part.
I'm type 2 as well and I hate it as well as its hit me hard as I feel its hit my sex life big time
