I am a very picky eater. There at are alot of foods I don't like. Also, I work a part time job and my hours are 4:00p - 8:00p. What could I snack on that won't hurt as much. I don't have a gal bladder, so lettuce is out. I like most fruits, chips, diet sodas, water(sometimes). Can anyone out there give me some points?

Thank you

Members rallied around someone seeking snack ideas as a picky eater working evening shifts, with the overwhelming consensus being that fruits like berries and apples are good in moderation, but pairing any carb with protein helps prevent blood sugar spikes. Several members shared practical strategies including choosing nuts like almonds or cashews for longer-lasting fullness, finding low-carb recipes to adapt favorite foods like cheesecake, and swapping sodas for water or Crystal Lite while avoiding regular chips in favor of options like pork rinds or veggies with hummus. A recurring theme was the importance of eating to your meter by testing blood sugar after new foods, keeping portion sizes in check, and giving yourself time to adjust to healthier options even if they seem unappealing at first.

Lchp we all need carbs but measured portion a fist size ONLY .at meal time but we need more veggies and fruit .We need to stay away from fruit which has more natural surgar which in tyrn will spike our bs sky high..such as bananas, watermeleon,we can eat berries like strawberries, blueberries, blk berries, cantalope always test yourself.after eating a fruit check blood to see if it spiked you.Always eat to your meter.yes on the protien if you must have lunch meat make sure they are Cured...There are many lchp recipes out there....Sodas are a no no.they have hidden surgars not to mention other added things that is harmful to our bodies...Water is the Best Option...
