Metformin Again

Sorry about again,,been reading some medical news about metformin,, how it is very hard on kidneys and liver and the latest one is that it may be cause (with some people) of dementia
thats all we need, enough side effects but they keep pushing and pushing to use them MY ? is has anyone else heard about any of these side effects

I am down 15 lbs, was watching carbs, no soda, veggie and fruits, though have to watch them too

I have been taking metformin for over 30 yrs, and I personally have had no issues.

I take the metformin extended release and I have noticed no nausea and no diahrea, b4 I was on the regular metformin and I constantly was in the bathroom.

They have a Metformin ER (extended release) that works and no nausea or diahrea.

I have been taking it too for a few years, I have heard similar things, but my doctors have never mentioned any issues to me( none of them) But I have known people who's doctors felt they had been on Metformin too long and changed the medication. I myself have had little if any issues.
