How Am I Supposed To Take My Metformin When I Have Little To No Appetite, And Can't Face Food?

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Portsmouth, UK

Started feeling off last night, and this morning I feel really bad. Don't want to eat anything, therefore I can't take my medication. I've not really had this before, so not sure what I'm supposed to do

did you check and see what your sugar was because if it is too low I would suggest eating dry toast or crackers then check again. Maybe you are coming down with something.

Try just a couple crackers with your metformin.

I've never taken any of my meds with food. Doesn't bother my stomach at all.
