Hi Trish here, I myself keep an eye out in what I eat nowadays. My doctor recommended that I have a least 2-3 cups of 7 different types of veggies 4 times day I tried that but enough was enough, so all I have been doing is just giving myself small portions when it comes to meal times. I did weigh around 124 Kilos last October and now I am down to 106-Kilos. I have been doing a lot of swimming as well as gym and walking my dog I am a type 2 diabetic take insulin but because my sugar counts have been so low I might be able to go of the insulin and just have to take a tablet instead That made me feel so relieved to hear as I have been a diabetic since 2003 [long time] and it looks like I will be freed of my insulin. You keep up the good work. with what you are doind.

I eat an apple late in the afternoon every day. It helps curb my appetite and helps me eat a smaller meals at night. I usually have plant based foods during the day and have salmon or fish for dinner with a veggie. My sugars have been 85-110. Apples are high in fiber and antioxidants. I highly recommend eating one a day. Leafy veggies are very important. Stay away from red meat.

I've heard a lot about Apple Cider being the 'new' panacea for Type 2 diabetes! I wish I knew more! I will be going out to get myself a bottle too! I have an appointment with my doctor next week and will run this by him and see what his views are! I'll share them with you! Wish us luck! Dicky - 16MAR2019.

I EAT PLENTY OF FRESH FRUIT WHILE IT IS IN SEASON.
I have to be careful in not to have to many bananas as it has too much potasium and I am not allowed too much of that [Doc's orders]
