Members shared their A1C levels and medications in response to someone asking about the community's diabetes management, with A1C values ranging from 5.0 to 9.1 and medications including Metformin, Janumet, Januvia, gliclizide, insulin, and Jardiance. Several members celebrated recent improvements in their numbers through strategies like intermittent fasting, walking, careful meal timing, and increased medication doses, with one member reducing their A1C from 12 to 8 after finally taking their condition seriously. A recurring theme was the power of accountability and community support, with members encouraging each other to stay consistent, ask doctors about concerns like stress affecting blood sugar, and celebrate every victory along the journey to better control.
