Shave grass tea can replace HCTZ as a diuretic.. A low carb diet under 100g carbs daily and you will stabilize and start to heal, eventually increasing carbs. It's a pain to do it until you get used to it but think about this, if SHTF, where are you going to get pharmaceuticals? Herbs you can gather or grow..
