What Can You Do If You Lost Your Job And Insurance And Can't Afford Any Of Your Medicine

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Woodward, OK

I lost my job in January of this year and along with it my insurance I've had to cancel doctors appointments and I can't afford my medicine that I need both for my diabetes and my heart I haven't taken my high blood pressure meds and my plavix I also found out they recalled one of my diabetes meds it's frustrating too not be able to take care of yourself without being able to afford the costs of your meds and going without seeing your doctor

Talk to your doctor he may be able to give you samples. Apply for Medicaid, im not sure if you qualify but its worth a shot.
