Can’t Sleep

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Mendota, CA

I use to sleep fine last year. This year the end of May I haven’t been able to sleep. I fall asleep at 1am or 2 am then I’m up at 6:30 am then around 9 am I fall asleep for 3 hours . I hate it. I’m type 2 diabetic. Doctor gave me some pills to fall asleep but I’m scared to take them. Should I take them

I take a sleeping pill every 3 days so as not to become addicted to them.

I use sleeping pills too but I am very careful with them. I use them if I need to.

If your doctor did not give much explanations about your medications, your pharmacist can help you out, they are very knowledgeable medications is their thing. They can maybe give you advice as to how and when is best to take them
