OK I find this strange. How come when I want to give advice to people and use several of my own pre written information I put in my computer on my spreadsheet that I created, this site only lets me post them once a day, then let me know I already wrote something similar and it is considered spam. Yet someone who just joined for the past 2 days can advertise to people 1 by one with exact same phrases something they are wanting to buy and / or distribute, yet that is not considered spam. All I can do is talk about how I manage my type2 diabetes to make me as well as I am. The way or parts of the way I manage my diabetes/diet/lifestyle may or may not work/help other type2 diabetics. My way is made up from advice from Diabetes UK, lots of reading/research on type2 diabetes and how to manage it, my own trial and error methods and 6months after diagnosis I found "MY WAY" its suits me perfectly, parts of it may help other type2 diabetics but my hereditary history means that if my brother was type2 also (he isn't diabetic) parts of my way might help him but all of "MY WAY" won't. Definitely do research, read loads, DON'T RELY ON DRS FOR THE MOST UP-TO-DATE info they have an average view. ABOVE ALL TALK TO OTHER TYPE2 DIABETICS and LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!!

I totally agree. Several people are trying their best to answer legit questions. Yet I got on here this morning and the same post was there six times in a row, asking for people to sell blood test strips. And then again, in other posts. Not right!
That's crazy I didn't think they can do that all your doing is trying to give advice and help others that are diabetic or just found out their diabetic
Hello π Elmo, Drs give you some information but you also have to ask questions like do I need to see a dietitian someone to assist me in selecting and eating diabetic friendly foods and how much should I consume? How much exercise is determined on what you can do. Our health is different. Others have more than one illness which may/ may not prevent you from doing such exercises or eating some foods. Observation is best for me. I've learned that walking and I enjoy nature which is great for me. I turn my exercise in things I like to do and chores like dancing and singing around the house, sweeping /mopping the floors, cleaning the bathroom/ kitchen and at work, I'm often moving with my students through play because they don't like to sit until meals and nap time. I have observed that I can have fluids or fruits until 2pm and having very little foods π gives me more energy and I'm stronger. I think better when consuming fish, veggies, fruits, drinking water and decaffeinated tea's. Every that I wake up, I say Good morning π God, lead me in a righteous path to help others and give me the strength to do your will of being loving, kind, nurturing, joyful, peaceful, faithful, gentle, self control against such things (Galatians 5:22-23 The fruit of the Spirit).
