So How Many Of Us PUT ME FIRST?
Just a short yes or no OR you can describe how you do it or don't.
What are the challenges that cause you NOT to be first.
How can we change it if we are not first?
I had a huge answer for tagging every one that posted and I lost it. Short and sweet thank you all for being honest. I hope that no one was offended by the question
I do - I'm not afraid to admit it. I am self-centric which I see as different then self-centered.
Especially when it comes to controlling my diabetes. I don't do anything that would negatively effect that so that does (direct) many of my actions. And if it's between "my need" and some competing need from family or work or whatever, they are going to lose that one.
At the end of the day, when you are lying on your death bed, no matter who you are, what you have done, who you have loved or who loves you, NOBODY is going to offer to take your place.
That doesn't mean you treat others badly, but they don't get "first place" at the expense of "my needs".
I do put me first after God because I wake up and give Him all the praises for another beautiful day. I tell myself that I'm beautiful, I smile often and I do things that makes me happy like hugging and greeting my family members our home. I feel great when I help others through a prayer, sometimes a little monkey or buying others food to eat. We have lots of homeless people in DC. I go and get my hair done often which makes me feel fabulous, I take time for me to relax, sleep longer, meditate, reflect and pray because I'm thankful not always because I want something and I have learned how to take slow deep breaths and think of a positive solution when I have disagreements with others and walking is my specialty comfort zone. I choose to be happy 😊!
I am single and a workaholic. As long as I can go to work and the gym I am good . Having a good attitude and being friendly is my gift to others . Acting the way God would have me act is his light yo the world .
Today I got up and did what I had to do for myself
