yes, I also watch my blood sugar go up and up..I have used a low carb protein shake that brings blood sugar down and settles my stomach..don't take pills until you have something in your sto.ach.

Have you added any new medications or changed the dosage on any recently - either could explain the GI issues.

Otherwise as the day goes along and we get closer to our (internal bedtime) our body clock (biorhythm) starts to slow things down, messes with some hormones etc and something in that process might be a little "jiggered up".

If this is a common occurrence you should mention it to your doctor and ask to have it investigated. There may be a somewhat simple answer with an easy fix.
