Sound like early stages of neuropathy
I agree, it could be neuropathy. I have problems too in my feet are cold and the shooting pains are terrible. My doctor prescribed Gabapentin and it really helped to ease the shooting pains. Also vitamin B12 helps to reduce sugar levels.
Could be arthritis as well
