So How Bad Is Eating Deep Fried Potato, Really??

One of the foods at the top of the "do not eat" list we are given by doctors and dietitians are Potato's.

Most of us were addicted to the things in our lives before our Pancreas went on strike and many of crave them far worse than "sugar", and particularly the various deep-fried concoctions which are oh, so gooooood 😁

I just bought cauliflower and make cauliflower puree. It is better than mashed potatoes and very creamy and low carb. Good with cheese on top and

Hmm well how about the next test can be @A DiabetesTeam Member to bake the freshly cut fries with some added seasoning and drizzle a bit of oil of your choice and compare those blood sugars with the deep fried versions I would be curious to see;.. inquiring minds want to know??? 😆gotta luv those spuds...yummmmmmm🤣

potatoes are not my friend either and I love them so. I am also a carb craver and that has been hard but I see what it does to my BS and I will not take shots so I have to really be hard on myself but once in awhile I will slip and of course deal with the consequences but I am still in control of sorts LOL.

Graham I enjoy steamed potato (red skinned) with sweet potato and carrots all with the skin left on the vegetables. I also steam cabbage and Broccolini a few nights a week and then I walk around 6,000 steps the next day and my blood sugar levels are around 5.5 daily
