I did for many years. Especially when my kids were young. Seems like it was the only enjoyable meal. Stopped about the kids went off the college! Probably stress related . Now I would love the house full again. I seem to be able to make a high carb/high Fat snack with very little in the house. So eliminating stuff jyst drove me to cook. Those cake in a mug recipes were my downfall! Now I have a Diabetic alternative:

Me too,granny smith or sometimes cooking apples( even sourer).Any fruit that discolours can be placed in lemon juice.i tend to eat my fruit at one sitting though

Thanks @A DiabetesTeam Member excellent idea. I just switched from gala apples to the green granny smith-and find I like them just as much. Got that idea from Iola who is always eating green apples.
