I'm a 24-year type 2 veteran who's tried a huge range of products for neuropathy. I think light massage of the legs and feet helps the most, especially strokes from the toes towards the hips. Use any good massage oil but avoid those that are contra-indicated for sores and ulcers. In my case, neuropathic pain occurs when my blood glucose is either above or below the ideal range.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I have been using a cream named LivRelief which I got on Amazon but is also available in many drug stores. In the beginning, apply it 3 or 4 times per day in the painful region. After a few weeks, I apply it once per day and it has reduced my neuropathy by about 75%. I also use Voxx Socks (found online). Good luck.

I have had several episodes of extreme neuropathic pain following hypoglycemia. Yes, anti- inflammatory creams do help, especially if you're trying to sleep. They are absorbed quickly, so are not suitable for massage. Ensure that low B12 levels and spinal nerve entrapment are NOT also reasons for the neuropathy.

I don't have the pain but I have the numbness so far there is nothing that helps. With my meds my blood sugar is under control. Depending on what and when I eat at night my blood sugar is usually no higher early in the morning then around 1:50 by the time I take my meds after a couple of hours and down to close to 100 sometimes below depending on when and if I eat in the morning but as far as the numbness I can make no difference it comes and goes as it pleases

I read a while back on here that someone uses Voltaren rub to ease the pain. I use that normally for shoulder and other joint pains so I had some and on a bad night (my neuropathy in my feet is worst at night) I had some handy and tried it and it really did help. Mostly I try and combat it with breathing exercises and finding the least pain position for my feet (it's different every time) but on bad nights the Voltaren does the trick. I know all our bodies are different but I hope this helps you
