Hello! I have been on Jardiance for almost a year and I’ve had no side effects.

It simply forces the kidneys to suck both sugar and salt out of the blood and pass both in your urine

The positive is that it doesn't matter what your insulin production or resistance is like most of the others that are simply working with your own insulin - this just sucks the sugar out and doesn't care what the source was

The only real potential downside is because of all the sugar in your urine, it can cause yeast infections or UTI's - just a lot of "food" for infection there

But it seems to be either it happens and they take you off it (about 1 in 5 that have it prescribed), but if your fine then there is zero issues

Can you eat most foods while taking jardiance?

I'm on Jardiance 25mg. it does cause UTIs and yeast infections, make sure to drink plenty of water as you will urinate more and can cause dehydration. The extra water will help with UTIs and Yeast infections, good luck🌷
