Is Aspartame Used As A Sweetener For Diabetic 2 Patients Safe?
Is aspartame used as a sweetener for diabetic 2 patients safe?
The "artificial" sweeteners have the designation of GRAS or Generally Regarded As Safe by the FDA and other national regulatory groups that deal with food safety
Now there is tons of "opinions" one way or the other with some claiming they will kill you while others say they are totally safe
The fact is that there is "no proof" that they are dangerous but there is also "no proof" that they won't cause some harm if you ingest too much over a longer period of time
But given that Aspartame has been on the market for just on 50 years and people are not dropping like flies it's likely "safe enough" and far safer for a diabetic then using a product sweetened with sugar, corn syrup, molasses etc
Because while it may not be great for you, uncontrolled blood sugar WILL kill you
The only 100% safe option would be "zero sweeteners" of any kind
Personally I have zero reservations about using or consuming any of the artificial or polyol/sugar alcohol sweeteners, but that's just me
Thank you for your response. According to a Youtube video I saw, the FDA is funded by the company that manufactures and marketers of aspartame???
Ya, it's an international conspiracy - and every other country has been bought off as well - so you better not trust a single thing from any government body out there that regulates anything - they are trying to kill you - of course that means the makers of this stuff would make no money once they have killed off everyone that would buy there stuff but I'm sure they have some angle....
