Hi, Has Anyone Used A Product Called Glucopro?
There is a number of (concoctions) out there including Glucopro which are just a capsule full of supplements that "were" previously used to help manage diabetes in the days before pharmaceuticals
Do they "help" with blood sugar?
Yes - but not as advertised
In fact the maker of that product (and a dozen others) was ordered by the FDA to stop "lying" about it's effectiveness
Diabetes has been "known" for over 5000 years
Until 1920 when Insulin was discovered and then a few years later when Sulfonlurea's (oral medication) was invented Diabetes was a "death sentence"
All those traditionals/naturals maybe bought you a year or two but you were still going to die a painful debilitating nasty death
Nothing has changed and if you think you can throw out your meds and use (products) that didn't work back then you are buying into the dream (or consipiracy that some cure is being hidden from us)
As part of a total treatment plan which includes blood sugar friendly diet, getting your weight in the normal range, exercising, taking meds if prescribed - the "addition" of traditional/natural supplements can "help a little"
But there "nothing" you can get in a bottle that will do even half as much in terms of control compared to a single 500 mg dose of Metformin (which by the way IS a natural (comes from lilacs) and traditional (just took them a few decades to figure out how to make it effective enough without it being toxic)
The product is advertised as practically curing you - however, you get a deal if you sign up for the monthly automatic shipment
So if it cures me why do I have to take it "forever"????
It's expensive for what it is - all of the individual ingredients are available from the vitamin companies for far less then the concoction - all will help "a little" but even if you took the whole bottle every day it would not control your blood sugar as well as "real meds"
PS - I am not "anti-supplement" - I personally take Milk Thistle, Chromium, Apple Cider Vinegar Caplets, a Daily Probiotic and Fiber Supplements (Inulin - Chicory Root) and believe they "help" - but I have no illusion that they are "treating by themselves" or that they will somehow work better than meds (which I am not on yet) - if you are doing everything "you" can - eat properly, mind your weight and exercise they may give you an edge to stay off meds (or slightly lower the dose), but they will never "replace" doing the hard work or taking the meds - there is no "magic" that will make you normal
Nope o l never heard about it what is it .?
It's an alternative to mainstream meds, search it on the net
