I, for one, enjoy getting knowledge about diabetes, reading group discussions and sentiments, read other materials to see or test what are suggested, recommended or even debated on. Recently diagnosed last March 2023 and now working on lowering or get my diabetes into remission by exercising, food balancing and changing my attitude in general. Thank you all for the posts from the different groups.
As said, the exchange of information, discussions and encouragements help a lot. Thanks Graham, Walter and all for the enlightenment. Regards peeps!
Doctors and diabetic teams do not believe when I say I DO NOT eat biscuits, sweets, cakes, chocolate nobody does even when I do a food diary. I do not have a sweet tooth. My problem was diagnosed by my consultant as being triggered by stress in the work environment, which caused a massive weight gain and miscarriage. It triggered a hormone imbalance. Gp's and diabetic clinics look at me as if I am stupid.
We all have different views in life, I have received so much info from this platform which the doctor has no time to explain I'm truly grateful and if I falter I make sure I follow my role models, Graham Lamb, Hkc and Judith. Pricless❤️
