I was diagnosed with diabetes 5years back, type 2 so the thing is mine is uncontrolled and it doesn't give me any sign when its high or low so I become a normal person even if it's low or high.my diabetes can reach 28.1 which is way to high and at the same time I'll be a normal person and now I can't work with my diabetes situation so I don't know how am I going to live when I can't work so the question is is there a place where I can ask for donation my situation?
Try hydrating better and watching your electrolytes @A DiabetesTeam Member.
The accepted guidelines for hydration are sipping 3-5 litres water daily.
Thirst can manifest as hunger, cravings that cannot be satisfied. For me, sometimes, especially on travel days when I try to drink less in the car, I feel extreme tiredness. So extreme that I feel that sleep is the only answer.
I know then that I need to hydrate better.
I sleep 7-8 hours nightly, the accepted level for best outcomes with diabetes.
Personally I finish 90% of my water by 1400-1500 hours, so I wake up fewer times at night for the loo.
Next cut your carbs slowly. Many diagnosed with diabetes do better with 100-130 net carbs daily.
But we are all different and our diabetes journeys are unique and at different stages. So the carbs levels we can tolerate and have good numbers will be different.
A good starting point, once you slowly get there is 1-2 servings of carbs per meal. 1 serving is usually better, since that gives you room for vegetables and some fruit in your right eating lifestyle.
1 serving of Carbs is:
1 slice of bread, or
1/3 cup pasta, or rice, or potatoes, or
1/2+ cup of corn, or beans, or lentils, or peas, or pap, or
1/2 banana.
Milk is 1 carb per ounce.
Most of my meals look like stir-fry, eggs, soup, salads, or some combination of the above.
I hope this helps.
Good luck.
I do have the blood glucometer and I'm seeing my dietician every month when I go to my treatment
It sounds like you need a blood glucose meter.
I think you should also go and see a dietician
I have already seen it and that helped me a lot
