My eyes get blurry and I cannot see. Happens quite often. It's frustrating, Type 2 and insulin dependent. I got eye drops and doesn't seem to work

Hi @A DiabetesTeam Member,

Do you get blood glucose numbers below 4.0(72), a hypo. When I am blessed with a hypo, my vision blurs, it takes 2-3 days of impeccable numbers for my vision to clear.

When I have 2 hour numbers above 7.8(140) 2 meals in a row, my vision blurs, but it corrects if I don't exceed 7.8(140) after the next meal.

There is also a condition known as dry eye, that can blur vision. You can use dry eye drops to treat that.

Good luck.

I was informed that the blurry eyes were due to my eye's weren't producing enough oily lubricants, and therefore had dry eye's and was given a ointment to use in my eye's, there's two ointments one only used by day,and one before sleeping
