Why Am I Itching Most Days. Sometimes I Have Get Out Of Bed In The Night To Wipe The Areas With A Wet Cloth To Ease The Itching

My one overriding issue before diagnosis was severe itching. I was eating antihistamines every single night because the itching would keep me awake. Within 10 days of diagnosis and obviously completely sugar free the itching stopped completely. Sugar and itching seem to be linked.

I have had the same itchy problem. I recently started taking GABAPENTIN for my Fibromyalgia nerve pain and it seems to calm my itching too. So very helpful for my sleep issues.

That's a Question for your Doctor

It "could" be related to diabetes but it could be related to a dozen other reasons including something as simple as having developed intolerance to the laundry soap used to wash your bedsheets

You need to figure out the problem before you can find the solution
