Carbs are carbs - some are sugar and some are starch and you blood sugar goes through the roof whether it's one or the other

So consider "carbs" to mean SUGAR

All moderation. I look more at sugars than carbs. Also after that pizza or sub or high carb meal go for a 20 minute walk.

If you are having a big problem with food, Well, then join the club and do what the rest of us are doing. Stop eating altogether. It may take a few days, but it will solve your problem....forever.... lol lol lol Just kidding.. I couldn't resist.

Hello ValerieKamperis
I used to love to eat stuff and for a long time I just did what I wanted to, and my medications started getting increased. So I asked my primary to help me get an appointment with a nutritionist and things changed over the last few years. I learned from each one of them ( I say them because insurance only pays for so many visits) so over the years I have learned how to keep my portions in order, eat healthy snacks and most recently I came on this platform and put in a question on what others thought were healthy breakfast and lunch. People on this platform send me links to places I could find some ideals. The nutritionist helped me with new ideals and some I liked and some were not for me; but I have also learned not to tell the helped "how to me".
So that's my two cents
