If you spike "high" that means that YOU are still eating more carbohydrates (sugar/starch) then "your system" can metabolize properly

You can improve that by 1) losing weight if you are not at ideal weight 2) cutting back on some of the carbs you are eating 3) getting a little more exercise to help burn the extra sugar or any combination of the three

2. Monitor Blood Sugar: Regularly monitoring your blood sugar levels can help you understand which foods cause spikes.

3. Diet Adjustments: Even small changes in what, when, and how much you eat can significantly affect your health. Consulting with a doctor or dietitian can provide personalized advice.

4. Medication Adherence: If prescribed, take insulin or oral medications exactly as directed by your doctor.

5. Lifestyle Changes: Incorporating regular physical activity and maintaining a healthy weight can also help manage blood sugar levels.

Always consult your doctor before making significant changes to your diet or treatment plan.
