2. Monitor Carbohydrate Intake:
- Use carbohydrate counting to track and balance your intake, as carbohydrates break down into glucose.
- Choose complex carbohydrates like whole grains over simple, refined carbs.

3. Dietary Adjustments:
- Eat a balanced diet with high-fiber foods, which can help lower blood sugar and aid in weight loss.
- Limit simple carbohydrates and added sugars.
- Avoid high-sugar beverages unless treating hypoglycemia.

4. Stay Hydrated:
- Drinking water can help your kidneys flush out excess sugar through urine.

5. Regular Blood Sugar Testing:
- Test your blood sugar levels as recommended by your healthcare provider to understand how different activities and foods affect you.

6. Weight Management:
- Losing even a small percentage of body weight can improve blood sugar control.

7. Stress Management:
- Stress can affect blood sugar levels, so finding ways to manage stress, such as through relaxation techniques or hobbies, can be beneficial.

Always consult with your healthcare provider before making significant changes to your lifestyle or treatment plan.
