When I eat carbs, I am blessed with diarrhea. Could it be carb loading.

That is a common side effect of Metformin, had to be switched because of diarrhea.

Your doc may have you try to take it after a meal. Metformin wreaked havoc on my gut. I had to stop taking it...

Metformin can upset the stomach for some people. Did it start when you started the medication? Really could be so many other reasons why you’re having diarrhoea though. Constipation , IBS, eating something that doesn’t agree with you, all can cause it. Maybe mention to your doctor & make sure you are hydrated.
