From a study on the matter: "Type 2 can manifest autoimmune features" making us more prone

Type 1/LADA which are autoimmune show higher susceptibility to developing other autoimmune disorders

But in the case of Hypothyroidism, "It" is usually the precursor to Type 2, not the other way around - it can trigger T2 but T2 doesn't result in greater risk of Thyroid disorder

I also have psoriasis but that predated my Type 2 by decades (and hasn't got worse/better since T2), so at least in my (case) can't say it's related at least directly

Hi Jimmers...Yes you sure can...my list is long, that sometimes I even forget about all of them. Not only hypothyroidism, specially chronic kidney disease, high potassium, etc. If I were to have an specific diet it would say "Don't Eat Anything". Have a blessed night 🙏.

More closely related to type 1 diabetes as that is an autoimmune disease. And many people who get one autoimmune disease get other autoimmune diseases.
