Hi Fellow Diabetics. Anybody Also Went Through A DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis)? This Landed Me In Hospital For Few Days.

No, I must be made of steel or something! When I was diagnosed I had a blood glucose over 500 and an A1C of 13.6! I had no ketoacidosis and went home the same day!

Wow, mine exactly without the unconscious. I can relate the extreme thirst and seconds after that the vomiting. I hope you are better, honestly I think this battle for us is not over.

Yes 3 times. Last one was the highest 9.6 I was at ICU. I was throwing up, 🤮, deep breathing, I couldn’t walk, very thirsty but I would throw up 🤢 unconscious too.
