Sure can - you have literally run out of "gas"

It is exactly the same as when a marathon runner "hits the wall" if you are familiar with the term where they just have zero energy left - that is caused by severed drop in blood sugar

@A DiabetesTeam Member that's exactly what is supposed to happen

High Blood Sugar will make you sleepy - even in non-diabetics that's what tends to cause people to doze off after eating lunch or a huge meal (Christmas Dinner)

Low Blood Sugar is deadly so the Brain actually monitors blood sugar levels all the time and if it gets too low the pituitary gland causes the release of a few "panic" hormones

So yes, nervous, shaky, sweaty (and if sleeping it can be those drenching cold sweats) and an adrenaline "dump" that gets you practically vibrating all in an effort to get the Liver to release some stored sugar to correct the low (naturally)

It sounds like "your system" is working exactly as it should - just have to work on the high blood sugars because while they are great "sleeping pills" they are doing a number on our vascular systems
