I’ve been lucky enough to have gotten government assistance for my battle with diabetes. They cover the prescriptions for me. I’m not quite sure how to offer a solution for your problem. On a positive note I got my A1C results because I was tested last week. My number is 7.1. A little high but not bad. Numbers are still consistent. My blood pressure is steady at 138/74.

@A DiabetesTeam Member hello 👋 how are things going for you today? I’m feeling well on Saturday morning here in Maroochydore Australia and I’m going out soon for a walk around my are and it includes some food items from ALDIs supermarket two streets away and I have a couple of other errands to do before I head off to the RSL service men and women Clubhouse to meet with Sally a lady friend and I am buying her some lunch and a drink for her birthday 🎉 which was on Thursday.

For those in Ontario Canada eligible for ODB they will cover CGM if you use Insulin or Sulfonylurea's

For any Canuck's, Federal Workers retired or not who have PSHCP coverage they will cover 85% of the cost as long as you can convince your Doctor to write the prescription whether or not you are on "any" meds (mine are covered and I take "no meds" - told the Doc I wanted it for immediate feedback on my diet - good enough for her to write the script)
