Oatmeal is fine if you limit the portion to what your meter tells you, you can handle. If your 2 hour number is higher than 7.8(140 usa) then you need to lower your portion size.

1-2 portions is the amount most diabetics can handle. A portion is 15 carbs. Once prepared with no sugar, a portion is 1/3 cup.
A few blueberries and / or raspberries are great. Strawberries are okay for most.

I personally am not so blessed. I can only handle 1 tablespoon.

Enjoy.
