I Am Looking For A Diabetes Specialist In The Libertyville, Illinois Area.

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Chicago, IL

I've been diagnosed about two months ago, and I don't know how to live with it. I've been suffering from depressions for several years, due to the deaths of my daughter and her baby. I did see a therapist for a few years afterwards and got better. However, this is taking me again, and my therapist retired several years ago.

I'm so sorry to hear about your losses. I too have suffered major loss - mom, dad, sister passed within 9 months. Father in law a year after that and a year later my brother which lead me to emotional eating and now recently been diagnosed with Type 2.
My best advice is to see a dietician to assist you.
It is very overwhelming, I know.
Perhaps try find another therapist too if you are still struggling with depression and just remember to be kind to your self and BREATHE!!!
Take walks everyday.
Sending you a massive hug!
