How long are waiting before you eat

Diabetics NEED to eat within an hour of waking up or blood sugar will continue to rise - that's "normal" and for non-diabetics whose systems work perfectly, they can get away with not eating - not us

It's called the dawn phenomenon. Everyone experiences it. Hkc can explain better then me. He posted some info about it yesterday, as another team member asked the same question. Best wishes to you.

Thank you for your response, really helpful. What is omnipod. I've been type diabetic for over 4 decades.
Like you I've got foot ulcers.
I developed diabetic neuropathy which as made me disabled. I had spinal stimulation surgery recently to help with the neuropathy. I'm struggling with my weight, not being as active as I once was. Also I to have eye issues. People don't understand what being diabetic can do to you.
Take care & keep in touch 🥰
