Do People Have Cheat Days. I Do,I Know It's Not Good For Me... And Yet I Still Do.
Of course I do, but they are beyond "rare"
Like wife's birthday once a year and maybe (and I mean maybe) two or three other occassions
You have to be careful - if once every 2 months is OK then when does it become once a month - then maybe every second Tuesday then once or twice a week then you have not only fallen off the wagon but the wheels fell off as well
And what if you have been having some challenges and your average has been running higher for a few weeks - can you still take your cheat day?
It is a personal decision and as long as YOU are ok with any possible consequence then you can take as many as you want
Sad (but glad) to say, most of the few "cheats" I've had, of the fast-food variety, ended up disappointing afterwards. My taste buds have changed it appears and easy fat, salt and sugar just doesn't appeal anymore. I did "cheat" at a recent B-day party with lasagna, wine and cannoli which satisfied real good and set me back a few weeks-but I can say it was definitely worth it. I know not to buy anything on my "do not buy list" like ice-cream, cake, cookies, etc...that's my last line of defense. But if it ends up on the menu at a social gathering-then it's fair game.
