Generally it is recommended that as a type 2 you begin taking Rybelsus in increments. (It should be taken 30 minutes before your first meal of the day.) Specifically, because of the gastro issues that are usually short lived. Usually a couple of weeks, when beginning. And each time dosages are increased.

For treatment of type 2 diabetes, you’ll usually take 3 mg of Rybelsus once per day for the first 30 days. After that, your doctor will likely increase your dose to 7 mg once per day. This is usually the dose that’s needed to help improve blood sugar management.

After you’ve been taking 7 mg of Rybelsus for 30 days, your doctor will decide whether they should increase the dose. If you could benefit from better blood sugar management, your doctor may increase your dose to 14 mg once per day.

So hopefully your discomfort will end in 2-3 weeks. If it goes longer than a month talk with your doctors.

Henry has laid it out perfectly so I will only add, all the alternatives to Rybelsus are daily or weekly "injections"

They are often easier on the GI tract then the tablets but you do have to "stick" yourself

That is the other option if you continue to have Tummy issues which could be discussed with your Doc
