Lol, they do more then boogie boogie. I could be the star kicker for The Dallas Cowboys😂. I remember the article about your wife, so sad😪. I had hallucinations on gabapentin. My dog and I were having conversations, and she would disappear, and show up magically, whoa that's crazy. I reported to my Dr. She discontinued the gabapentin. @A DiabetesTeam Member
@A DiabetesTeam Member I would at least ask the Doc about Mirapex concerns
When I wrote up that piece on my wife a few months back the drug that her neurologist had been trying to get her to stop taking was the Mirapex. She took it for 20 years and it was the "most likely" trigger for her psychotic break which was "predicted" anytime after 15 years of use
Just from my experience with her, I would really be cautious with that one which can also cause you to stop producing your own dopamine - not a big issue with Parkinson's since that is happening anyhow, but not so cool if you develop Parkinson's trying to keep your legs from doing the Boogie Woogie at night 😁

Been on the MIRAPEX for 1 month. She said requip caused nausea to bad. I'll suggest requip as I have an appointment to discuss my meds, coming up soon. Thank you for the warning Graham.
