Can Tingling Or Numbness In Feet And Hands Be Caused By Deficiency In Vitamin B1, B6, B12 ?
I think it’s a shame doctors are prescribing Trulicity for weight loss taking the supply away from diabetics who need Trulicity for their diabetic treatments. Going to check with my Dr about my Vit B level and testing. Thanks for your detailed and informative answer. Very helpful.
Any B-Complex deficiency could be the culprit or in the case of a Diabetic such a deficiency combined with vascular damage from blood sugar could make the problem worse
All Diabetics on Metformin are at increased risk of a B-12 deficiency in particular and that can be screened with routine (like A1C) blood work because if a Diabetic is B-12 "deficient" it usually takes the "shot" to correct the issue enough for "therapeutic" value - can't do it with the Over The Counter stuff
AND you can "overdose" on B vitamins (a couple in particular) - having too few in your system is a problem - the right amount is perfect - too many and you have created another problem
So best to get professional advice if you are you going to add B Vitamins beyond the minimal amounts found in Multi-Vitamins or the OTC B-Complex stuff you can get at the grocery store - at those doses (UK Research) shows they provide little to no benefit (over someone who takes none), but no contrary outcome either
