My husband was on Qutiepine, Citalapram, Valproic Acid, for over 50 years from Veterans Admin. I got him out of VA to Kaiser Permanente and the psychiatrist put him on Valproic Acid, Xanax, Sertraline and Ziprasidone and the Tardive Dyskinesia slowed down. Valproic Acid and Xanax slowed the tremors down. He was also told to smoke marijuana which stopped the tremors completely. I just started having Tardive Dyskinesia from the Tylenol #3. And I take my Xanax for that. It stops my essential tremors from spasming without notice.
