Is It True That People With Prostate Cancer Should Avoid Milk, Milk Products And Eggs.
Diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2010, the prostate was removed in 2010. I do PSA tests every six months, and it's currently slightly higher than 2.
Eggs is my goto meal. I eat some cheeses. I have 3 oz unflavored unsweetened greek yogurt 1 day. The next day I have 2 oz unflavored unsweetened kefir.
I eat Japanese pickled ginger, pickled daikon, pickled plums and other fermented foods like sauerkraut, and kimchi.
Many advocate no red meat. Some advocate vegan.
Myself, I follow an ultralow net carb right eating lifestyle. I usually limit my meals to 2-3 net carbs. I plate half a 7 inch plate of vegetables, quarter plate protein (2-3 oz). And I eat a few blueberries, blackberries, raspberries. I sometimes eat a serving of avocado (1/2).
Meat and fat have no carbs. I eat some chicken, turkey or fish almost every day. I regularly have a little seaweed.
Is my Japanese heritage showing.
Less than 30% with my diagnosis live 3 years. Less than 5% live 5 years. I am almost at 7 years from diagnosis.
I believe that the ultralow net carb, higher fat, right eating lifestyle that I adopted. Is a major reason I am still helping others.
I read some medical studies that suggested that very low carb, higher fat lifestyles in conjunction with cancer treatments prolong life for cancer patients.
I had my prostate cancer and the other places it liked growing - removed almost 7 years ago. I'm currently in my 9th treatment.
I do what I need to do.
