I am also on metaphor 500 mg twice a day but I’m also on glipizide 5 mg twice a day. They’re both in the same pill.

My Dr. recently put me on Metfomin about a month ago. Started out with only 1 500mg tablet a day and recently started using 2 500mg a day, which is now my daily dosage to get my sugar levels down.

- GLP-1 Receptor Agonists: Newer medications that help control blood sugar levels.

- SGLT2 Inhibitors: Help the kidneys remove glucose from the bloodstream.

If lifestyle changes and these medications are not enough, insulin therapy may be recommended.
