Good advice about rotating injection sites and talking to your medicals.

Insulin has 2 purposes.
1) metabolize glucose to provide energy for daily activities.

2) any excess carbs that is changed to glucose is converted to fat for use in famine times.

So cut your carbs slowly till you gain no weight. Then slowly cut your carbs a bit more, till you lose a pound or 2 a week.

Good luck.

I am a type 2 diabetic and it’s extremely hard to loose weight especially in the mid section. I was told that I could only take the insulin injections in the stomach , how true is that

Thank you. I started rotating quite some time ago, and started eating correctly but with Type 2, it's extremely difficult to lose weight .

Hello Samia

I’m one of the lucky people who never put on weight but I can tell you that once I started weight training with a personal coach, my body shape and my strength was the best that I have ever been in my entire life.

I weighed 50 kgs and could do squats with a 60 kg bar.
I leg pressed 120kgs and I was really small.
My stomach was as flat and hard as a plank of wood.
I had little muscles in my biceps and calves and I was super fit.

COVID stopped all that training but I never put on an ounce and I retained my shape.
My dietician advised weight training and I had sessions 3 times a week.
On the other 3 days, I did Pilates.

Unfortunately, in the last year, I’ve lost a lot of weight. I now weigh 44,6 kgs for no apparent reason. I am not on insulin.
I was prediabetic- border line diabetic and because of this site, I reversed my prediabetic prognosis.

Google weight training and read what wonderful results you will benefit from.
I wish you the very best of luck.
Quick fixes are temporary, from what I’ve read. 🙏🥰
