Wow, that’s great. I eat for Gastro. Low fat, low fiber. And I try and manage my diabetes by exercising.

Yes eating for gastroparisis is opposite of a diabetic diet. I eat for gastroparisis. I watch carbs and take 150 units trujeo daily. I also use trulicity and farxiga for my diabetes. My last a1c was 5.9. I don't take anything for gastrparisis at this time.

It can be caused by diabetes since it is usually caused fron a damaged vagus nerve. Other things can cause gastroparisis. I have gastroparisis and beleive it was caused by diabetes and chemo/radiation therapy.

You are correct. I found out I had both diabetes and Gastroparesis at the same time. I was admitted to the ER. spent a couple of nights. I’ve had acupuncture, Botox injections into the pylorus. The foods I can eat for diabetes, are different from the Gastro diet. And yes the vagus nerve is the culprit
