If you are talking about "yourself", if you feel your numbers are too high then You should be yapping at your Doctor about increasing/adding medication to get under control - the Doc works for you after all
If you're readings are consistently high, they should already done something about it.
Blood sugar is considered too high (hyperglycemia) when it exceeds 180 mg/dL (10 mmol/L).
