I Have Collapsed Because My Sugar Was Low, Has Anyone Else Experienced This?

Yes, I've been near collapsing quite a few times. I make it to the bed and collapse on it. At times like this I try to struggle to the kitchen cabinet for a few tablespoons of honey. Then in 15 minutes I start to normalize. I always keep a jar of honey in my home for these times. Glucose tabs do nothing for me.

Not enough sugar getting to your muscles can cause the collapse. I have a hypo I cannot function at all. Make sure to monitor blood sugar closely and watch for rebound lows. Hugs from, Joyce.
