What Is The Best Sugar Substitute? Splenda Or Sweet&low.

For me it's all about taste and after taste - none of them are "good for you" and there is much discussion about whether or not they are bad
But since we are diabetic and "sugars" are the bigger issue, a sugar sub is "better for us" then the sugar would be - that's not the same as good for us 😁
So "no" sweetener would always be the "healthy" choice
I don't like the taste or after taste for most of the chemical subs, hate the taste of Stevia so I typically use either Monk Fruit or Erythritol (a polyol/sugar alcohol) if "I'm" adding it to something
I drink Coke and Pepsi "Zero Sugar" - they both use Aspartame and "I" like the taste and don't detect an after taste
So try a couple and see what "You Like" - you are more likely to use it instead of sugar if you like the taste
I prefer sugar or honey.
All the sugar substitutes do not agree with me.
I can tolerate a little saccharine without gastric upset. So if I had to choose, I would opt for the sweet and low.
Good luck.
The Splenda causes stomach issues for me.
