Random joint pain that moves from one joint to another can be concerning. While it may not directly relate to diabetes, it could be linked to inflammation, which is common in people with type 2 diabetes. Your higher glucose readings since starting the corticosteroid asthma medication could also contribute, as corticosteroids can worsen blood sugar control and inflammation.

Additionally, autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid or psoriatic arthritis, which are more common in people with diabetes, can cause joint pain. It's important to discuss these symptoms with your doctor to rule out other conditions and adjust your treatment plan if needed.
