Nervive is a "supplement" which is why it's available over the counter

The ingredients are traditionals that provided some relief to nerve pain before meds came along so were better than nothing

And for minor nerve pain, in it's early stages it may be enough

But if you are experiencing pain from peripheral neuropathy, a complication of diabetes, that is no longer just a bit of nerve pain

When it starts to "hurt" that is at the point where vascular damage caused by elevated blood sugar over some period of years has caused the "death" of some of the nerves and to treat that kind of pain you need a nerve blocker in prescription strength (gabapentin and pregabalin is the two leading meds for pain caused by Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy)

Talk to your Doctor, see a vascular specialist and get the "formula" to try and halt it from getting worse. You won't fix it or roll it back but you can stop it from advancing
